I’d laugh if it wasn’t so fucking tragic.

Isn’t that exactly what the government is supposed to be there for? It’s people? Whether they are rich or poor, it is there to help them and govern over them. Under Romney’s presidency, I believe the government would begin to only care for the rich at the expense of the poor and would drive the poor further into their poverty by taxing them more and more, denying them healthcare, food stamps, medicare, and other currently offered government support. Schooling would be centered around those who could pay for it and would basically ignore those who couldn’t. Essentially, those of us below his self-stated indicated upper middle income line would be left to fend for ourselves while he basked in the richness of the only people he actually cares about. I shudder to imagine an America so pompous and unfair. That is NOT what America was created for.
